News just in, Max Metral from http://boston.povo.com has been working on a QRCode reader for (jailbroken) IPhones and is looking for testing and coding support.

Here the quick facts:

• You, yes, you are invited to join the coding party (especially handling low light situations of the reader).
• The party is at http://code.google.com/p/iphone-qrcode/ (For a quick look, SVN is here).
• You need an 1.1.1 (or higher) jailbroken IPhone to get working

Very exciting and hopefully one step closer to providing an answer to all our friends who have an IPhone and were - literally - sad when we had to tell them that there is no QR Code reader yet. Yet. This is, thanks to Max, changing now.
